About Me
I am a dedicated lifelong learner with a deep passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages who are facing a wide range of concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, identity issues, life transitions, and trauma. With a firm belief in the capacity for human resilience and growth, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and thoughts. Through our work together, we will identify your strengths, develop coping skills, and foster a greater sense of self-awareness, ultimately helping you to lead a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Treatment Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in a blend of evidence-based practices and holistic healing techniques to support clients in achieving optimal mental health and well-being. As a trained professional in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help individuals heal from trauma, enabling them to reprocess distressing memories and develop adaptive coping strategies. Incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my practice, I assist clients in developing emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills. This approach is particularly beneficial for those struggling with intense emotions and impulsive behaviors. In addition, I utilize Somatic Therapy to address the connection between the mind and body, helping clients release tension, regulate their nervous system, and gain a deeper understanding of the ways their physical experiences influence their emotional well-being. Lastly, I emphasize the importance of mindfulness in daily life, teaching clients techniques to increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and cultivate a greater sense of presence and acceptance in their day-to-day experiences. By integrating these approaches, I am committed to providing comprehensive and individualized care that supports each client's unique path toward healing and personal growth.
