MS, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

About Me

Throughout my career, I have been given the opportunity to encounter a wide range of issues and have developed extensive experience with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, and dual diagnosis. I have spent the past five years involved with various community and clinical settings, working with individuals that present unique experiences and therefore have unique needs. As a therapist, I have a strong motivation to understand and appreciate any given personality as a valuable individual. I place a great amount of emphasis on open and honest communication; encouraging reflection upon previous successes or challenges, engaging in meaningful exploration of narratives, and fostering the formation of new skills.

Treatment Approach

I empower adolescents and adults to navigate and overcome obstacles using an integrative, strengths-based approach. I make a commitment with clients to strengthen their ability to identify thoughts and behaviors that keep them from moving forward. By doing so, clients can begin to understand and transform patterns so they can develop new insights to their experiences. I strive to help clients achieve positive, secure knowledge of themselves in order to improve their well-being and inter-personal experiences.
